Filtration
The natural filtration process begins with rainfall and snowfall in the high peaks of Mount Lebanon.
The precipitation is absorbed by the porous limestone rocks, which cover a significant portion of the mountain range. These rocks act as a natural filter, trapping impurities and contaminants while allowing the pure water to seep through.
This process is not a quick one; it takes several years for the water to pass through the extensive layers of limestone. During this time, the water is naturally filtered and purified, removing any harmful substances or impurities.The slow pace of this process also allows the water to absorb essential minerals from the rocks, enriching it with calcium, magnesium, potassium, and other beneficial elements.
Flowing
After this prolonged filtration process, the water finally emerges at the Tannourine springs, located at an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level.
The water here is constantly flowing, preventing stagnation and ensuring its freshness.
It is at this point that Tannourine Spring Water is collected for bottling.
Bottling
